H PILE POINTS FOR H BEAMS & I BEAMS
The load bearing capacity of driven steel H beams and I beams can be greatly reduced if the H piles are damaged during driving due to impact with rocks, boulders, rubble or other
obstructions. HMC H pile beam points provide pile tip for H piles or timber piles
to minimize this type of damage. HMC H pile and I beam points increase the bending
strength of pile flanges and web from 2 to 6 times thereby helping
insure that the pile reaches final bearing in position and in
good condition.

ROCK-BITE POINTS FOR H BEAMS & I BEAMS
In response to market demand for
a reduction in H pile beam points and I beam points beyond our standard selections, HMC manufactures
the ROCK-BITE cast steel point. The ROCK-BITE point for H piles and I beams provides
added ability to push through obstructions and to set the pile
into harder bearing materials. ROCK-BITE teeth bite into sloping
bearing strata with both vertical and batter piles. ROCK-BITE points are available for all H pile and I beam sections.
Our I beam / H pile points have wide flanges and web for even greater protection than standard points.
Heavy stabbing H pile beam / I beam points are used for penetration on sloping surfaces.
Increased wide flange tip depth for added strength.

POINTS FOR TIMBER PILES
If soil data indicates possible timber pile damage due to obstruction or a stiff layer which must be penetrated, MIDAMERICA FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTION points for timber piles provide the required assurance that the pile will reach bearing in good condition.
Points for timber piles prevent pile splitting and brooming.
Points for timber piles are available for all timber pile sizes.
Points for timber piles are made of ASTM A-36 steel plate.
